Shopping on eBay!

EBay is an international online auction- and shopping site, where people and companies can sell almost anything they desire. Today they are localized in over thirty countries, and are in my opinion a great place to find good bargains! However there are a few aspects you should be aware of before you buy, or make a bid. Under I will in shortness mention some of those important aspects, and you can also find more information on Wikipedia.

First of all, you need to register an account to buy or sell at EBay. (It’s free to register) You can use the link/logo below to register.

When almost anybody can sell/auction products on EBay, there will always be some people with dishonest intentions. Be sure to check out that your seller has an overall good feedback. This will give you a good indication on how other people has experienced buying from this seller, and help you knowing that you are dealing with a serious seller. If your seller has a poor feedback = don’t buy!

Remember to also read the auction information carefully. See if there are any shipping costs, and especially check if the seller ships too your country/continent!

Payment. Be sure to check out how the seller wants to get paid. PayPal is maybe the best way to pay, but many also accept credit cards. If you are buying something expensive you may also consider a buyer protection. Usually this doesn’t cost much, and provides some security –for instance if you should fail to receive your product, or if it’s very different from what was described in the auction description.

If you follow the guide lines above, and use common sense, you will most likely have no problems!

EBay also have a community help board, where you can search for questions/answers, or discuss general matters! Go to forum!

Enjoy shopping, and send me an e-mail if you have created a masterpiece :)
